Children

Earlier is better for your children to see an Orthodontist.

Your mind is probably overrun with questions: At what age should I take my child to the orthodontist? Does my little one really need braces right now? Is this the right time or should we wait? As parents themselves, our Orthodontists, Dr. Davidson and Dr. Stuart understand and appreciate a parent’s concerns and are here to answer all your questions. The Canadian Association of Orthodontists recommends the first Orthodontic exam around age 7. This is very important and therefore our initial exams are complimentary.

While most of the time, early treatment is not indicated, this simple screening does provide our Orthodontists with a baseline and with follow up visits to check for jaw and teeth growth it gives us valuable information to determine ideal timing of treatment to greatly minimize chance of extractions and/or surgery.

We have an amazing play space for the children to play in. The Brace Space team provides a relaxed and supportive atmosphere for the little people in your life.
